I personally love long videos! If I need to pause or stop I can, and just watch whenever. Thank you for taking the time to post videos I can only imagine how much time it cuts into stitching! Anyone that says something negative just isn't a happy person. The gorge is a hot mess. My husband worked over 135 hours during the storm!

Thank you, Tonya. There have been some weeks that I decided to stitch instead of film, upload, edit (add description, etc.). Like you, I pause, fast forward or skip if I don't have time to watch someone else's flosstube. It's ok if someone doesn't like my style. I do think it's rude to say so. Just don't watch if you don't like it, but some people feel the need to share. Oh well. Your poor husband! Working those long hours in these conditions must be awful! Poor you too, because its means lots of lonely hours while he is gone. It's stressful when you know how dangerous it is to be out there. God bless him for working so hard to keep everyone else safe. I'm hoping the forecast holds true and we have 5 days with little to no rain! Everyone could use a break. The water is gone from the roads, but the fields and streams are still full of water. We only lost power once and that was because someone drove through the water rushing over the road and ran into a power pole, knocking it down. I was so grateful to those who were fighting the weather & road conditions to get power back on. It was less than 24 hours and most of that was in the middle of the night. Poor workers having to be out in the rain at 1am to fix something that never should have happened.

That cat cracks me up! I usually keep the door shut when I film, but if he can find a way to get in, he will.

It is beautiful and sunny but freezing cold -16c here today, but very little snow which is not normal for us….

Yowzers! That is COLD!!!! We warmed up to the 50's here. No sun, but at least it's not raining. Hope your hands stay warm enough to stitch. :)

Still waiting for real winter weather here in The Netherlands.
@HeatherNorthcreativeblessings2 жыл бұрын
When do you normally have winter weather? We have more moderate winter weather going on right now. There was a tease on the news that we might be in for 5 days in a row without any rain. We could really use the break from the wet stuff for a week. Highs will likely reach the low 50's F, so that is going to feel like Spring. :)

@@HeatherNorthcreativeblessings in January and February. I’m hoping for snow and ice but not predicted yet unfortunately.

Great video! Please don't let people with nasty remarks get to you, I love your videos. Your projects are always amazing and I prefer the longer videos because I can get stitching done. Here in Reno we are hovering between 45 -- 52, we also had snow for Christmas and still have some lingering around. I understand it is WIPGO weekend so some progress should be happening 😂Happy Stitching and look forward to next week!

Thank you so much, Becki. You know I love me some longer videos too to get some good stitching in. We went to Reno in January one time when we lived in CA. There was snow piled around, but the roads were dry. I imagine your area does a much better job of plowing/sanding/salting the roads. We get more than a few inches here and everything shuts down. They don't have the equipment or resources to deal with it because it usually doesn't last long. We get one storm a year though, it seams, that stops everything around here. Thankfully I have many hobbies to keep me busy inside. ;)

That was too funny with your cat😂😂. Couldn’t help but laugh at your reaction lol. I enjoyed see all your wips and hearing your wipgo plans. Mine as gotten off to a good start. Those silks are beautiful 😍. I always enjoy your videos. We are supposed to get some winter weather here tomorrow but the northern part of the state will have most. My area maybe could get a inch of snow but it will be gone Sunday lol. Have a great weekend.

I was laughing out loud and you comment and had to explain to my husband why I was laughing. He wanted to see the video, so I showed him the part you were laughing at we both laughed until we cried. There was a time I would have edited that out, but I'm so glad I didn't. It's life. My life. And it isn't perfect, but we do laugh an awful lot around here. Hope you stay cozy and warm this weekend. The predicted sun has not appeared, but at least it's just cloudy and foggy (high fog) and not raining. Happy Stitching!
