Hello ladies, even though I have been watching you for a while, I just finished binge watching all your videos. I can't wait to meet the both of you at the retreat. I wish there was a Mardens in NH - I love that store and the closest one to me is in Sanford (I live in Dover, NH on the seacoast). Thank you so much for mentioning 2 Crossed Stitchers! I am always looking out for fellow NH stitchers, especially if they are fellow FlossTubers! So I will definitely be finding their channel! I have been stitching with the Maine Vacationland Stitchers that meet in Biddeford and they are such wonderful ladies! Missy, I agree with you - I like to migrate towards older patterns or designers that people may not be stitching, and I love Glendon Place. Happy stitching and thanks for another great video!

Thank you ladies for the fun video. I got my tabs! Working on getting them attached to my Weeks threads. Thank you for passing along this great idea. You mentioned your Paula Vaughan patterns. In the mid 80’s I was a new cross stitcher. Loved Paul Vaughan designs but was too intimidated to stitch them. Still I collected a few each time I shopped at Michael’s. I’m missing a few but have most of the set from 1 to 70. To this day I have not stitched any of them but hope to get at least a few done. 😀

Oh my word…I have to edit myself so I don’t leave an essay. I identify with everything you two say and feel like I am chatting with friends. Weather? Ontario is supposed to be snowbound in February but we have had the gentleness of spring with daffodils and tulips sprouting way too early. A spring tree for the ornaments would be awesome. Time change…groan we lose an hour but not for another week. I will stop…love your videos.

Had to pause your video so that I could tell you that I am stitching on The Gentle Rain as I’m watching this! 😊 Just do it, Missy! It’s a fun stitch but beware of that fountain! 😂 Loved seeing the old Paula Vaughn pieces. So many new patterns that I’m having chart envy! We don’t have a bit of snow anywhere in town now. The massive rain storms we’ve had over the last couple of weeks melted all of it (I live in Maine too, btw). Thanks for sharing!

I have always heard that Missy's stitching style doing bottom leg one direction then top stitch coming back is the Danish method and Kathy's "one complete x at a time" is the English method. I take all my patterns to the library and make working copies at 129% and on 11x17 paper. It works great. Also the Magni clips I get from Amazon, they clip on your glasses.😊

Kathy I appreciate that you are conscious of having good grammar. Most of the flosstubers grammar drives me crazy. Makes me wonder what kind of school they went to. Enjoyed your fabric purchases. I don’t understand how stitching fabric is measured so don’t know what sizes the fats are. Have been quilting for years and have never heard of quilting fat halves.

❤ your floss tubes ! I always learn something and go to check out the floss tubes you mention. Today a light clicked on when you were talking about needles. I usually stitch with a 26 on 16 or 18 count. White is not my favorite floss. I went to my stash and pulled out a DMC 24 needle and did some sample stitching on my 18 count. With the 26 needle and rail roading with the second leg my white looks great ! Happy stitching....~ Joan !

Good to see you two. Love the Honey Bee chart, gentleness. I do save a bit of floss until I’m done with the project. I started back on Aida, went to 28 then 32 Lugana, did a couple 36 linen recently, and bought a scrap of 40 ct for a small project. Believe it or not, it’s doable.
