Every time I watch one of your videos, it brings me back to our Florida trip and the Gulf of Mexico. I loved it. My husband actually said, “Is this all there is? It’s just water!” He lasted about 5 minutes, but I managed to into the water briefly. It was like bath water. This Upstate New York stitcher, daughter of a Navy Dad, was used to the cold water of Lake Ontario. The gulf water was pure bliss. Best wishes to you with your residency, your new home and I hope your dog’s kennel cough is already gone.

Hi Megan! Wonderful stitching as always. My bestie is now living out in Hampton so not real far from you and she and her sister take trips into Williamsburg occasionally. She and I used to get together when we both lived in Michigan. Congrats on your upcoming third wedding anniversary. I hope residency goes well for you. How many years is your residency? Congrats on your 4th year on floss tube. Sure does not seem like it has been that long. I think I have been here since near the beginning. I am so sorry for the loss of your parents' dog :( Losing pets is so hard. I am so happy that you and David were able to attend each other's graduations. Such huge achievements for both of you. I am sorry that the Navy changed David's assignment but am happy that you will at least be together on the weekends. Happy birthday to Kia. Texas has definitely made it to summer and is no longer in spring with temps in the 90s most days with feels like of 113-115 so far. The portfolio is so beautiful. I had mint green and bright yellow daisy bouquets for my original wedding in 1975. I love the saying of the tree pattern. Gulf is a gorgeous shade of blue. I really enjoy Mo's Sale silks, especially the single-stranded ones. I hope all your changes go as smoothly as possible. Take care and happy stitching. Dawn in Texas

As always, it is so great to hear from you. Thank you for sharing all your progress, both stitching and life related. The same thing happened to me with a hinzlet pattern that I purchased from an LNS. It was a michigan chart I got while on vacation, and the lighthouse charm that it came with was completely different than the picture. I am very sorry that it happened to you as well. But I must say thank you for sharing that experience. As unfortunate as it is, it is nice that you shared this news. And I truly hope this won't happen to anyone else.
