I loved all of your cross stitch you have displayed in your home. All of your work is beautiful. I really like how you are consistent using the plain maple frame. Because the frame does not compete with the cross stitch design. Your frames enhance each piece. I look forward to seeing each of your programs when they are downloaded.

Thank you 😊 Really happy you are enjoying my videos 😄 I totally agree on the frames; you want the eye to be drawn to the stitching not the frame. I am fortunate to have a very helpful framer who knows my style and can always seem to find just the right frame...if I don't want my 'go to' oak one 😂

I love your pieces, especially the scenes and the unicorn hanging with flowers!! The only pieces I have up in my house are very small, mostly magnets. I'm going to start stitching for myself so I'll have things to hang. 😂 I can't wait to start making cross stitch cards! Fabulous video thank you for showing your pictures. Anchor Woodland Sampler when you were twenty times does fly, you can also do a match picture if you get the time Anchor Birds Sampler. The other one is Dimension Gold Collection Three Elephants Dimensions does look like a photo don't think one can get that kit anymore although the China copy cat company does it but you won't get the same detail. Love the Bothy threads I have completed the robin one .

Big and small 😉 The beech frames definitely work really well as some frames can look a bit ostentatious (word of the day!) and can detract from the finished piece I think. Aww, I loved seeing your cute little mice! They are really fab for a first attempt as a youngster. Even if the stitches aren't all 'uniform.' They have character I would say 😃 I would love to see how you created your lovely frame for your seriously adorable little unicorn hanging! Such a great idea to stitch a little back, butt, behind too! 🦄 Yes time is flying past and it's hard to believe that we'll be into October tomorrow. Thanks Nessa 😊 I had such fun sharing my work so I'm glad you enjoyed seeing it all 😄 Choosing frames can be tricky...I am definitely not one for the ostentatious frame 😂 I was at the framers yesterday taking my enormous HAED and 2 other pieces and I am so lucky that the framer is incredible at helping me find just the perfect frame. He has a brilliant eye for it and knows I like a simple style. I am beyond excited to get the HAED back and see it hung 😆 I'm still Halloween stitching...I might have treated myself to a new kit 😜 Hope you enjoy some stitchy time this weekend. Kat xx

I'm not surprised that you're super excited to get your HAED back! I would be too!🙃 I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I'm excited to see it too in all its FFO glory 😀 Finding a great framer is soooo important. I have so far framed my own pieces but I will get my HAED finishes, when the time comes, professionally framed. I think I've found the perfect place locally so 🤞🏻Talking of finishes I often browse through the gallery on the HAED website just, well...because 🤣 It's a stitchy thing isn't it? They are all a thing of beauty and deserve to be admired. Plus it's a good excuse to add more charts to my wishlist 😂 I didn't get to stitch yesterday but somehow a couple of kits accidentally on purpose fell into my basket when I was in Boyes 😳 oops..what can you do eh?! 😂 Have a lovely stitchy week Kat! 🤗🪡👍🏻

Thank you so much for sharing your stunning work and the way you finish your cross stitch off. Scrapbooking has sort of gone out of vogue here. Where do you get your apeture cards from, please. I love your Boothy threads cross stitches and the fact that the background fabric is all similar which makes them stand out so well and of course your choice of framing. I love the hexagon idea on your wall, that would be a great way of displaying small pieces in a small room. Once again thank you for sharing your amazing work.💐💖

Thank you so much 😊 It was so fun to share my FFOs! The spotty fabric in the Bothy threads kits is really lovely; definitely one of the reasons I love them so much 😄 I make my aperture cards myself as I am lucky enough to have a die cutting machine that I can use to cut the apertures. Sorry that doesn't help you with where to buy them although a lot of general hobby/craft stores have them. I'm also thinking of doing a video on how to cut your own apertures if you don't have a die cutting machine...it's on my very long list of potential videos 😂

I would like to see you make them, The unicorn with the front and back is amazing! What are the small frames made from? They look like faux leather. I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing my FFOs and that Bothy bunny rabbit definitely has a special place in my heart; it even looks like the bunny I had! The frames in the unicorn are pearl card which I die cut, and the faux stitching is part of the die cut design. I used 2 circular dies to create the frame. I can definitely do a video on the coasters...and that gives me an excellent reason to make more 😂

I'm sure you'll fill all those blank white walls. 😉 I think my favourites were the first Bothy Threads display (especially the flamingos), and those elephants look so life-like. Looking forward to the Christmas FFOs being released from storage and dusted off. 😁 I completed a Bothy Threads Christmas Robins design this year - I need to frame it SOON. Love all your small pieces, too - gift tags, cards, bookmarks (and coasters - yes, you SHOULD make more of these!) They give such a personal touch to gift-giving. 👍 (Oh, and just signed up to your email list. That mini rose bunch design is so gorgeous, thank you! Will probably make it into a Mother's Day card. I have until May next year, so should be able to manage it! 🙄🤔)

@catkinandlillie I made the design called "Rockin' Robins". Five Robins perched on a branch. I've also thought about stitching one single robin to make into a Christmas card (would work size-wise as a larger card). Thanks Kat, see you in the next video.
