Loved watching an update on all your stitching. Your finished projects are gorgeous, especially your Plum Street antiques sampler is so, so beautiful! I am sure Paulette will sell tons of those charts now. The new Plum Street Sampler you all got at the retreat looks amazing! I bet your Sarah Braizier gives you a lot of joy when you walk by her every day!!!

Your floor stand is a Stitchmaster and I have one just like it and love it! Yes, occasionally a wing nut may need tightening, but overall use and ease of use it is wonderful! I am in the states but if you don't absolutely love the stand I would joyously purchase it from you. I recently have looked for another and I am having trouble finding one now. I ordered mine from Siesta Frames in the UK bye it seem they only have the table/ lap stands available now.i also have the seat stand version. You are such an informative and entertaining lady! Maybe ( hopefully) 2020 will be the year of the stork visit for you! Thank you for your time in making these videos! Best Stitches Always 😀 Good luck and Best wishes on the new job too!

Where do you purchase 40ct evenweave if you don’t mind me asking... Congrats on your new job too. Your stitches look great, but if you’re not happy maybe it is the silks 😭 I’d totally buy that fabric off you lol. Only if you can’t find anything else to use it for. I wish I could tell her that there is someone else working on that pattern 😢 I had it in my Year of WIPs lineup for this year but I completely failed at finishing anything so I really want to finish that project next year. So thrilled to see a video from you my friend! So many wonderful projects as always. Congrats on the new job. I was home in Nova Scotia a month ago as I was at a second hand shop and I came across a Drawn Thread Pattern - it had the lady's choices in pencil so kinda felt cool. It is called Souvenirs - do you have it? If not, would you like to have it when I am done? I am about to start my very first Plum Street in the new year - goat load! Loved the video my friend.

What is the fabric you are stitching the badger sampler on? Is it 100% linen? I have tried using linen blends and have the same issues, my stitches don't lay right. I really don't like Mallow, I find it is rough and frays the threads. I am guessing the fabric is your problem...love all your wips and retreat stash...those hanks of silk!! I am drooling...xo also...Plum Street! :D
@TashtheStarCrossedStitcher5 жыл бұрын
The fabric is not linen, it is cotton/polyester blend. Ugh I hate it. I have restarted now on the Mallow and am so much happier! I haven't had a problem with fraying threads yet, Maybe because I'm keeping my lengths short (I always do with silk.)
@samplerstitcher5 жыл бұрын
@@TashtheStarCrossedStitcher I thought Mallow was a blend? Or maybe we are talking at cross purposes. The Mallow I was using I got from 123 stitch, it is 51& linen and 49% cotton. At any rate, I am glad you like it...I wanted to as it is much less expensive than pure linen, but it was a no go for me. I see you have new vids up, I am off to go watch! xxoo
