Great video. Always enjoy them. I did Jesus too. It took me a while but when it was done it was impressive. I did it on an overdyed back in the day when overdyed fabrics were rare. I love the proverbs 31 pattern as well. On my wish list. God loves an embroiderer. Exodus 35:35. I took like to have a couple of spiritual pieces going. We ARE blessed. 💗🪡

I would love to a HAED and bought everything but fabric was ginormous and was overwhelming. Any tips and what is the Typewriter method?? Absolutely love your videos!!❤

Of course! It is completely overwhelming at first, I completely agree! When using the typewriter method you choose the symbol furthest to the top left and stitch that symbol only until your floss piece is gone. After that, you choose the next symbol furthest to the top left. I tend to work left to right and then down or follow the blocks as the patterns allow. I'll carry a good distance but generally end a threat if I feel like it's too far a carry. I believe stitchingmama also has a great tutorial. She has so many beautiful HAEDs going and moves through them so fast. I also find full crosses on 28 count is my sweet spot. Keeps the fabric a bit smaller and i like the coverage of a full cross over a half stitch.

@@tammybunge5615 You'll have to let me know how it goes! What pattern are you working on? On a HAED or full coverage piece, I always stitch one over one as it is such a small count. I have one pattern I want to try 2x2 on 18-count Aida. It's an Orenca original so much smaller.

I'm actually in New Hampshire! Charlotte is in NC :) That's where the stitching retreat is and NC is a home away from home for me with may family there 😍
