@@kckoehler1766 That next morning was rough. He got knocked for a loop! It was horrible to see him sleep so much! No other symptoms just felt logey. We made sure he was hydrating and he was fine that evening. So hard to see something that small feeling off.

@@Griffinand3 It was a fun time! That’s 3 retreats this year and I feel that’s all for me. Time to stitch and just meet up at stitch groups at local meetups. Stuart is most active in the morning and plays with the dog now🥹Tag and hide n seek. It’s so nice to see our dog so happy. She’s so gentle ❤️

Very enjoyable. In the past twelve years that my cat has been in my life. There isn't a cross stitch project that doesn't have her hair stitched in it. Impossible to avoid it. Love the pet pics

Great video. Who’s counting Wips right 😂! I love the winter serenity. It’s beautiful loved the finish. That frame was waiting for you!!! The Santa with presents ornament I finished 1/21/23. That full coverage seem to last forever… I did it while I was with mama Pearl in hOSPICE she was buried the day I finished it. I love the hello Summer pattern you got. I will have to do this one for 2 reasons. My ancestor was a light house keeper (as you already know 😂) and my beautiful daughter’s Name is Summer. 😊 The stitcher Passion is her pattern collection! That’s so me. I will not ever finish all my patterns. 😊

Still I kit and make piles! 🤪 Sad memory tied with your little Santa stitch. 😔Hope you can place happy thoughts with it. Finishing up Return of The Whales this week and although I can’t use a sewing machine I’m having fantasies of turning it into a pillow. May have to sit in a pile for awhile as I hone my skills.🤓 I do hope to make a dent in my collection. The kitten’s cooperation and training will depend on that😏

@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher I have good memories of mama Pearl to know I was there with her to the very end as she crossed over. She thanked my sister and I for allowing her to be our mama(She was my stepmother from the age of 7). We thanked her for being our mama and loving us. We let her know that we loved 🥰 her. So that’s why it will be a special ornament to me. 😂 I am guilty of making a big tote with fancy ladies kitted from some with just beads and patterns, to speciality floss and fabric

A little kitten sure adds another level of activity to a household. Eventually he will settle down some and you can have a relaxing time stitching instead of ‘stitching like a fiend’! Winter Serenity is a very lovely project, great job! Thanks for sharing the wonderful table gifts from the retreat, I got some good ideas. Stitchy people are so generous. Thanks for sharing all the stuff!

Also...(sorry) Several years ago I stitched the Jeweled Pear. When I finished it I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with it, but I couldn't resist it at the time I bought it. Some time later a high school friend contacted our circle of friends to tell us she'd been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatments. I went to visit her and took her the pear, hoping it would cheer her hanging in her window on her bad days. The connection? She just happened to grow up on a pear farm. I guess there was a reason I chose to do the pear. Unfortunately she isn't with us anymore, but I sure think of her often.
