You can use triple thick glaze or mod podge that's dishwasher safe so high heat won't make the sealer melt on your bookmarks. I make them myself. Hers are gorgeous! Loving your videos and am jealous of your attic space wowsers!!!

I’ve dabbled in dyeing quilt fabric where you can buy fabric that is specifically prepared from the manufacturer. So it doesn’t have to be”chemicals” in it that might impact how the dye will be taken up in the fabric. I’m from the geese and teddy bear era too😂

Didn't realize it was houses now...I'm from teddy & geese days as well! Still kept my old patterns & my favorite teddies...Vera Bradley has come out with new duffles etc.with teddies all over for the holidays. Maybe I'm so ancient it's coming around again😂

You can make a cloth cover, perhaps even quilted, perhaps with an elastic bottom to snug up around your cone. Then it is pretty to look at and practical.

The bookmarks are so pretty. I didn’t know they were a thing. Have fun at the retreat! Oh yes, I remember the days (Or I should say nights) with kittens. I remember one night where my kitten cried and cried any time she thought it was too quiet. I had to keep tapping my fingers so she knew she wasn’t alone. Poor Abby girl. I enjoyed the attic tour. Hi Sarah, I too bought two copies of that book, only because my first copy had had pages ripped out of it, so the designs I want to stitch were missing, so check your copies to make sure that both yours are complete, I ended up ripping up my first copy and putting the pages into my shredding pile, simply because I didn’t feel right having a damaged book in my collection.
