Lots of good inspiration in this video. Your Prairie Schooler santa ornaments are so cute! I recently finished my first PS Santa as a pillow, using 10 count fabric . Super fun stitch and I think I’ll re-stitch it as an ornament. Also, your pillow wrap is awesome! I don’t have an embroidery machine, but I would love to give it a go with maybe a cross stitch or some applique.

Hello Kathleen. Just found you and loved everything you kindle shared in this video! I’m a returning cross stitcher, wanna be quilter and slightly burned out machine embroider. So everything you showed and all of your tips inspired me. I didn’t know Lizzie Kate did machine embroidery designs, wonder if you could share the link to that tutorial. I especially love your Santa Stop Here and would have never thought to finish like a cross stitch design - very cool. I wonder if you would further explain or do a tute on how you do the machine embroidery WITH the batting and combine the wording. Every thing you showed is fabulous! So happy to have discovered you.

Let’s get some answers for your questions… Lizzie Kate does not make embroidered designs (for an embroidery machine)…however lots of embroidery firms do and I linked all of the ones I showed in the show notes for this episode. I am in the process of having my original website rebuilt and those types of step by step tutorials are in that data…so be sure to follow me when that goes live…in the meantime I will add it to my list of info to cover in an upcoming video…hope this helps! Your finishes are fabulous! Like someone below said - great inspiration! I also love the machine applique! That Santa Stop here is amazing!! Oh those stockings are perfect too! So classic and neat! Where do you get the sticky felt you put on the back of the cross stitch barn ornaments? thanks!

Thank You so much Lori! I really appreciate your sweet comments! The "Stiffy Felt" I use for the backside of my ornaments is available by the sheet in the regular "felt sheet" section of Hobby Lobby. It comes in a larger sheet size than the regular felt sheets do...which is super nice. I just hot glue or tacky glue it to the backside. Stiffy Felt is firm and cuts so nicely to fit whatever you need to cover. It also comes in several colors...I use it alot! Happy Stitching and Finishing!
