Great tutorial Helen! I need to get busy and make some ornaments. I have my “vintage” cross-stitch ornaments I made 34 years ago when I got married in little round ornament frames they sold back then. These are so much prettier. -Anne

Thank you so much for this video!! I have three round ornaments and was trying to decide how to make them, lacing versus using glue. These are the first round ornaments that I have made and will definitely be watching your tutorial again before I finish them. I also love your idea or putting a charm at the top center! What a great idea and I don’t have to make bows!! Thank you!!

Such a helpful tutorial, thanks! For anyone wanting something similar to that pie tin, amazon has mini cake trays (3") that are about $10 for 20 of them. They are gold colored rather than white, and they don't have the hanger attached to them, but you could probably buy a pack of small eyelets in the hardware department and glue one of those to it.

Thank you! Decades ago, my local XS shop had a class. We stitched our projects on 22 ct over one thread (tiny!) and used two tops from buttons made to be covered (they’re a little convex). I’ve also used Mason jar lids. This year, my projects are a little too large for Mason lids, so I’m searching to see what others do. This is perfect! I’d love to find red tart tins. I’ve almost 10 months until Christmas, so 🤞🏻!
