Hi! First time watcher here from NJ. Laura from Stitching by the Shore shouted you out so I came over to have a look and glad I did. I think it's fabulous that you're doing 60 new starts for your 60th year! I turned 70 in 22 and had a total philosophical epiphany and now follow no plans and start & stitch what I want, when I want. It feels so freeing! Moving on to see some more of your videos. Happy 2023 and best of luck. I'll be watching. LOL

Love the Blue Spruce, that color is gorgeous. I'm drinking coffee, and yup, I use pattern keeper 97% of the time.

I can't remember who mentioned your channel recently, but I'm so glad that they did; I've enjoyed your past few videos, and WIP parades are my favorites. I think the mention came after you discussed your 60 starts for your birthday. I'll be checking out that video next. I'd love to see your L&L Sampler at the Mira retreat.. I never saw a model of it, but even so, I think the color that you're doing it in would speak to me more than seeing it in red. I haven't started Amy's WIP Parade yet; I'm saving it for when I have time to concentrate and drool over all of her gorgeous projects.

I don't worry about the blurred out background on a HAED. Keep going! The NASA picture is looking beautiful. I have decided making a mistake in my cross stitch is my signature because it happens in every one of my projects. LOL

Just finished Fishes and Ships couple months ago and then you show me another one with a whale🙈👀🙈😵‍💫🙈😍. Like you BAP’s are what draw my attention I can’t for the life of me seem to buy many smalls🤦🏻‍♀️. I love,love, love “Amid Amish Life”. Yes, blitstitch completed it quite awhile back and the frame is lovely. I’m following RachelQ Stitches as she is doing it now also. I read Amish novels also. I know this comment is a bit late, I just found your channel. I very much enjoyed your wip parade! I have been cross stitching since the early 70’s when I was six or seven and I understand frogging if the pattern won’t work or if it’s obvious to a casual observer. What I have never understood is why converting colors and substituting different words and modifying trees that are too symmetrical is perfectly acceptable, but you have to frog something that’s “not right” if you didn’t intend to change it originally? I see flosstubers doing this all the time and I don’t understand. Can you explain it to me? Asking sincerely-thanks

Hi Lisa, thanks for watching! If I'm understanding your question correctly, adding some of your own touches or changing a color or two and personalizing it would be different from needing to frog. If say a border doesn't line up or say a branch is off and it doesn't connect to the tree, that would need frogging. Like full coverage pieces,they look like photographs or paintings when they're finished, so it would be important to follow exactly. Does that make sense.
