I just have to say again I'm so glad to see you back! I lost my mojo in November with the passing of a sister. But that was my quilting mojo because Joy (my sister who passed) and I quilted together so much. So my attention turned even more towards x stitch which I've done a lot of. I'm finally getting the itch to piece a quilt and have just about have one ready to go to the long armer for quilting. I say all that to say this. It happens in life. Mojo comes, mojo goes and mojo jumps from one track to another. I'm just trying to stay on the train 🚂. Not sure how I can catch up with all I want to do now that mojo is running on both tracks😂

Such pretty stitching! I’m in love with the simple wish, loving those eyelets. I think it makes the design sparkle and pop. The chart by Stacy Nash w/the chickens is on my wish list. I love that one, but I love chickens. I love your satsuma frog, I’ll have to get a chart to come live with me. I always enjoy seeing the charts and fabrics, because I do not have an LNS close to me. One is 5 hrs away and the other is 8 hrs away. Your fabrics look yummy, esp the last one you showed. You have a wonderful Mothers Day! 🌸 🌺

Your Blackbird finish is so pretty, loved that haul! I watched that video with the ironing and I have had that mat for a long time but only used it for my quilting, I learned to iron the cross stitch pieces by using a terry towel so you don't crush the stitches, but will be trying my mat like you showed , that was amazing! Guess you can learn something new all the time. Happy Stitching !

Your blackbird finish is lovely.. I agree, I like the almost faded look that you got with one stitch. I enjoy eyelets, but I have yet to do a piece with a huge number of them; I imagine I would get to dreading them eventually too.

I have done the Fern Ridge pieces...2 of them and I am also a visual learner. I went to PotomacBeads on KZbin and used the Fast Odd Count Peyote video...she is really good at showing you how to do it. If I can do it you can too! ~Tara

Honestly, no it is not. With good instructions, I believe that anyone can stitch them and stitch them well. The BBD piece I showed had many eyelets, and those eyelets led to the beauty of the piece.
