I love your fruits basket finish! I also stitched the dark queens. I stitched two versions of the dark queen of the Seas and the two versions of the dark queen of the Earth. I under stand why some people were surprised by the charted face but I just made some modifications to make it work for me. In the end I loved how each queen turned out! I'm really looking forward to the next one coming out next year. I'm stitching a few Dragons myself though a do have a fondness for mermaids. I also finished stitching the epic pokemon gen 1 pattern some years back. I really like your taste in projects and I look forward to following along with your channel! Great wip parade. Your fruits basket piece is adorable. A tip for the satin thread: I keep a damp washcloth on a saucer next to me and run the thread through it right before stitching. The dampness makes the thread a little more useable. I stitched the owl forest monster wonder whale awhile back. I had ordered the kit and it came from russia. now with shipping so expensive i am unsure if i will buy another kit. it was a great kit with zweigart linen and their threads. Loved stitching with them. If you do not like the 2 strands I would suggest 36 or 40 ct so you could only use 1 strand. I know garden carp has different stitches so it would not work on aida. I am unsure about the dragon one.

@marthadewald664 Thanks for the suggestion, I will need to try that! I did realize about the backstitching as well after I got done editing so I will probably stitch it on 40 count and see how that goes.

So I had this video pop up as a suggested video after finishing a different flosstube, and I couldn't even wait to watch the video before subbing to your channel. I LOVE Fruits Basket, and you are the first flosstuber I've seen to stitch a Fruits Basket piece! I love those japanese samplers as well, they have immediately gone on my "to be stitched" list. As to the His Name is Jesus, I would suggest ditching it, and perhaps restarting it in the future using what you've learned about what you do and don't like when it comes to fabric and floss. Those can be real deal breakers that can cause a person to really hate a piece they would otherwise enjoy. I've had to do that a few times myself. I also don't like stitching with 2 strands, though I'm getting to be more okay with it on non-full coverage pieces. Evolutions is looking great already. I am going to be starting that Two Dragons piece soon for my oldest son. Still trying to decide on fabric and floss. I'm not in a huge rush to start though, as I've got over 30 wips at the moment. It's been great stitching with you today! Happy stitching!

Thank you so much for all your nice comments, this made my day! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only stitcher on here who loves Fruits Basket. Glad I could add a couple of projects to your queue as well; I don't think I've seen anyone stitch the Hiragana and Katakana Samplers, I just found them on my own one day when I was still new to cross stitching and exploring different websites. They were fun to stitch and I think they came out pretty well. Maybe I will replace His Name with a different project for now and restart it later, we will see how I feel by my next update.
