Your demo was REALLY helpful. You showed it using a recliner, you used with a Quantum frame, you showed me that I DON'T need the extender bar, you showed how tall/short it goes and you showed that the powder coated was the same. Very thorough demo, thank you thank you thank you so much! Answered all of my questions.

@@gracenotesstitchers-corrin6784 Do you find the head of your lamp keeps falling down or does the head stays where you put it? Thank you for your response.

@@solarwinds- my lamp stays put, the daylight omega 7. I have an off brand I take to retreats. It falls constantly, until I get the right angle and tightness. Then I can get it to stay.

You’re welcome. I had another thought. If you had a good, heavy weight, you could turn the base plate sideways. Then you could swing the arm over you when you sit down.

The stainless steel model is the deluxe model and is a robust unit and heavier than the powder-coated models, at least this is what I felt was implied on my research before I bought the SS version. I think this is why the stainless steel model is less likely to tip. However, as I have not seen a powder-coated model I have nothing to compare to my SS model.
@gracenotesstitchers-corrin67845 ай бұрын
Not exactly - they operate the same. Deluxe would imply extra features, and now I have both….they have exactly the same features. Honestly, the silver grey is not going to tip if you hold onto it when swinging in and out! Of course, in carpet you have to be more careful.

I got both my lowery and Omanik quantum frames from a store in canada www.Busxstitch.ca. Alicia is the owner and really nice. I am so glad to hear you are back into cross stitching. It has been my passion for about forever...I had walked away for a few years due to my hands, but so glad I am able to be back to stitching. Thanks also for watching our videos. Thank you for the very useful video. What was the name of the little things you put under the metal grips of the long frame Lowery adapter to protect the fabric please? Did you say they were magnetic? I’ve tried small pieces of Aida and pieces of cotton but they are fiddly to hold in place when you’re trying to insert the frame into the adapter.

The problem I have is my recliner is solid on the side so I can't slide it under, any suggestions
@gracenotesstitchers-corrin67843 жыл бұрын
If you have the longer L bar, then it wouldn’t have to be as close to the recliner. But, there are some people who purposely slide it under the couch or recliner so that it holds it down. I’m not sure if that helps?
