I have a million cabachons I cant wait to see what you do with them. I make beaded jewelry and I used them for cat's eyes or dragon eyes to wire wrap. But now Im addicted to cross stitching and all my beads are packed away lol ❣

I found you two on my feed yesterday and am so happy it came across ! You two remind me of my sister and I, BUT she won’t stitch lol. I am JoBug in Iowa. I have a channel that I never really did any videos 😂

Such a fun series! You gals are so creative! 💕Yeah- it was an OLD kit I was given from the 80's. I just swapped out the fabric and used the good chunks around the rust damage for ornaments. 😊 Lesson learned. Lol. Thanks for the shoutout! 🤗

My fear is one of my kids will get a wip bag wet and the needle will get rusted. Hopefully without interference they would last a few decades. Some of these will still be wips then. 😂😂

Really looking forward to the one about how to take the pin backs off - there’s been some pins I’ve had in and out of my cart on Amazon for ages wanting to turn them into Raven needleminders, but figuring out how to take the pin back off has been what made me leery of trying that! What I’ve done in the meantime is I got a large (for that kind of magnet) bar magnet that I put inside an old Vera Bradley clip zip ID case that holds my little storage tubes of needles (and my mini sissors are clipped to it, so it acts as a sissor fob) and then I cross stitched a piece to go where an ID was intended to go. There’s still space inside to stick needles to the magnet inside the zipper part for travel, but at home, they sit there nicely on the arm of my chair and it’s the main thing that has kept me from losing more needles than I have! It’s an unusual method for a needle minder/sissor fob, but what works, works!

Thank you for this video. Over a year ago I made some for myself with the correct magnets but the wrong glue (hot glue). They all worked but over time some came apart. Now I know what to do. I appreciate this video!

Hi, needle minders are addictive to do 😄 I would like to know were storage them ? because magnet attach each other. You put them on a board ? on a box ? separatly ?
@CrossStitchtheGlobe4 ай бұрын
We have different methods. I keep mine in tins, but I use the backs interchangeably so I don't care if they get mixed up. Allison keeps some in boxes and some on a board. -Stephanie

Your magnets are pretty thick - is it important to have the thicker ones? I have some that are quite thinner.
@HoopItUpWithJan06066 ай бұрын
100% don’t put the back magnet on until the glue is dry. There is a possibility to get glue between the magnets and glue them together. Don’t ask me how I know! 🤦🏻♀️
