I am bummed. I just saw this video and would have loved to order your Sifted Rouge de Bordeaux Flour. Unfortunately, its all sold out. I have a home mill that I mill my own flour and bake my bread. I would love to see you sell the wheat berries.

Very cool project. Congratulations on growing and milling your own grains. Nit to pick on the label... once it's sifted it's no longer whole grain (even if it contains some fraction of the original germ and bran, it no longer contains all of it).

When they say limited time, they mean it. I see the description says until 12/17. Almost all varieties have been sold out, except the buckweat, as of 10 hours of this video. I'll check and see if they restock.

Rouge de Bordeaux. We are milling this as a sifted flour so it is the finest whole grain flour currently up for sale. The grain has a storied history in bread making dating back to the Bordeaux region of France as early as the 1600’s. Many a rustic levain have been made from this grain.

I wanted to order 1 5lb package of flour. $15 for the flour plus $14 for shipping. Almost $30 for 5lb flour? IMPOSSIBLE.

Admittedly the current shipping rates work better the closer you are to us. We will look to improve upon those before our full scale launch in 2025.

I went to the post office to send a package to my daughter - two cookies and her rx so not a heavy package - and it was almost $40 for two-day shipping. I sent a box of cookies (not weighty) to my friend last year - regular ground shipping time - and it was the same, around $48. Either we are too accustomed to "free" Amazon delivery and/or the USPS needs to make dramatic changes so we can support smaller businesses that have to charge the going rate for shipping.

Shipping is super high- 28$ to NC for 3 bags, 20$ shipping for 2 bags. That is way too much

We hear you. We will definitely be looking to improve that aspect of our online store. Right now it is much more affordable for customers who live closer to us, but we think we can probably improve upon this in the future. Shipping will be higher than for some other goods simply due to weight. We as a bakery also pay high shipping fees to receive truck loads of grain/flour.
