Try cleaning the camera, it may be that the light sensor is obscured meaning the camera may think it is night time. If that doesn't work, the shutter may be stuck. A gentle tap with something hard mat unstick it. Let me know how you get on.

Can you explain why when I replaced two mini cameras they only show in B/W with N with a red X on the bottom , perfectly ok in the tv video. The previous mini cams were fine but misty lens. Thank you.

@@autofjmusa2386 I sussed this out - works perfectly with a computer monitor but TVs are fussier and you need to use a Computer monitor to change the resolution to 720p which TVs like!! Let me know if it solves your issue!!

Hi. I have the 8 channel H264, why does it keep rebooting for a day or two and then seems fine. Does this every now and then. IT reboots and seems fine, and varies from a few minutes to a few hours when it does this.

Hi I bought set of floureon 4 CH 5mp 4k cam +DVR H.265+ (not H.264) however when my package arrived outer box written DVR H.264 not H.265+ then I contacted the seller they told me what I received is indeed DVR H.265+ they just got it wrong the outer box. However looking your video now about this DVR is exactly the same I bought can I know what this DVR? Is it H.265+? Or H.264? Appreciated your reply thanks

I have this unit and every so often it freezes up and I have to unplug mains and plug back in to reset unit, sometimes it may crash once every month, sometimes it will crash up to 4 or 5 times a day, it's not the hard drive as its the second cctv drive I've had in this unit and it does the same, so cheesed off with having to reset it,

Possibly a usb hard drive with external power...unless it's an SSD in which case no external power would be needed.

Do you need to delete everything off the hard drive prior use or can the cctv recorder delete it? If I got a new hard drive does the CCTV recorder format the hard drive ready for use? This is the 1 thing that’s putting me off getting one by simply not having the knowledge of getting a correct formatted hard drive suitable with with cctv system, thank you for your videos they had been massively helpful

Hi, there. My old Flaoreon DVR stopped working. I've bought new one Same make. Connected may old infrared cameras and it's working. The problem came later, when the night fall. Some how the night vision is not working. The infrared lights on the cameras are off. What possibly the problem is. Maybe I am not doing the settings right. Can you please advise. Regards

I've never seen old Sky boxes at anything more than 500gb. The brand new Q box is only 1TB.

+BeatboxNorwich I get them all the time from my local sales and wants page on facebook. There is currently 185 2tb sky boxes for sale on eBay...don't buy them from there though! The new Q boxes have a smaller HD as there is more focus on the on-demand element of the service.

+BeatboxNorwich The older 2TB says 2TB at the bottom-left, I've had a couple that were 2tb but not badged as such. If I'm not sure I'll message the seller asking for the model number and Google it. I wouldn't recommend buying them for data storage however, often these boxes will have been on for years and as such the drive will have been spinning for most of that time when the owner was watching tv (constantly recording for the rewind feature).

Hi Kris I have an odd problem with my Floureon Camera system up until a few days ago I had 7 cameras working on and 8 channel system we had a power flick and now I have only 4 cameras working at a time ... All cameras work ... all cables work but if I plug 7 cameras in only 4 pick up I have tried separate splitters I have tried different power sources on those splitters I have tried changing the power adapters everything works but only if I dont connect all at once ....... WHAT else can I try I have never come across this one before? cheers Jade

Might be according to this? How do I reset my password on my Floureon DVR? For 5 seconds, press and hold the “PTZ” button on the left. The device could then be reset to factory defaults, with the username “admin” and password “4321.” Certain Floureon DVRs may have a different Button combination.

could be your power supply to the cameras` if u are using 1 power supply powering 4 cameras it could be failing hope this helps : )
