【.flow】 Creepy events

Three most horrific events in the .flow game: bloody room event, dying (or putrefying?) girls event and Kaibutsu in the bar, which kills Sabitsuki before she could hit it/him. It doesn't include the also creepy ending, but there's already a few videos about True ending.

I think Yume Nikki and OMORI are 2 cool creepy games like this (Please note that OMORI doesn't really get creepy until you are near the end)

Take a look at Saya no uta, Paranoiascape, FAITH and Carrion. These games gave me the same feeling that i got while playing .flow. They both have the same fleshy horror and psychological aspects.

this is kinda a spoiler, but the dying girl is actually sabitsuke's mother who gave birth, most likely through a C section, to sabitsuke, which is figured out in the version 16 event (the version 16 itself is only the event as an april fools joke) and the door in the bloody room leads to the dying girl event, as you find out when you get the first empty box.

An odd event is present out of bounds in the passage leading to Disposal from Snow World. It's activated via touching it when variable 34 共通ランダムイベント (Common Random Event), a variable that is set every time you enter flow, is between 20-59. Once activated, it will turn on switch 387 地下階段電気OFF (Underground stairs electricity OFF), flash the screen once, and then change the graphics of the lights in the staircase to be off. Why this functionality was disabled is unknown, but presumably it would've been used randomly when walking through the passage.

I Don't Really Agree With Most Comments, The More You Play the More Relaxing. And That Goes To Yume Nikki Itself And Pretty Much Every Fangame, It Will Be Strange And Creepy At First But, Over Time You Feel More Relaxed, Im Currently 10 And Have No Issue With Yume Nikki Or Fangames.

imo, yume nikki is more symbolic than .flow .flow almost has a story with reoccurring characters and themes, whereas in yume nikki, you really have to piece different symbolism together to create one of many narratives and interpretations though flow is visually scarier than yume nikki, the possible underlying themes of yume nikki are absolutely terrifying, ranging from madotsuki simply being suicidal to her being sexually abused

i recommend yall to check out lol_rust's (.flow creator) yt channel kzbin.info He does a full longplay of .flow adding plenty of interesting hints and commentaries about the game's lore, a lot of this lore isn't even on the wiki yet
