How likely is that device, that is based on flow cytometry, counts cells wrong? For example, to count lymphocytes into monocytes? In what cases device might be wrong (I am asking only in context of flow cytometry)? Could you direct me to the sources where I can read more about these questions? Thank you very much! :)

If parameters are not set well it will show wrong things

The side detector seems to focus on how long the cell is. The forward detector can only detect how wide the cell is. Gravity factor comes into play on this machine
