I doubt this comment is helpful a year later but for anyone wondering: you tie a knot around a part of the string. So stick it in a space between beads, pull it through, then loop the end other and pull it through. I use a surgeons knot, which all you do is loop the string a few times before pulling.

How long your elastic string hold up? Mine seems to stretch out and fall apart after awhile. Wondering what elastic string others are using and if they lasted a long time? Thanks
@GingerCandE
@GingerCandE 2 жыл бұрын
I use fabric covered elastic so if the elastic wears down the fabric will hold it in place. The longevity of your elastic depends on how much you wear it, if it's exposed to heat or water, etc. Typically a few years with light wear.

@GingerCandE
@GingerCandE Жыл бұрын
once you tie the knot the string is in the correct placement. You just need to go into the bead next to where your string is. This will put you coming out of that bead. If you are using blue as your flower color the pattern should look like, blue bead with string coming out of it, blue bead, blue bead. Then you add you center color bead, white in this instance, to your string and then string into the 3rd blue bead. It should look like the beads are surrounding the new center bead like a semicircle.
