Thank You Again Jim and Brenda Gordon for the wonderful second day of Horse Progress Days . It was so great to see all the Amish Children learning horsemanship which has been part of the Amish Heritage.

So enjoyed this! The kids sitting on wagon racks reminded me so much of growing up in the mid 1940’s and fifties before everything was litigated. The kids had the risk/benefit equation worked out. Very small risk of falling from a height versus much better view as well the great memories they will have. Good confidence builder too for the youngsters.

The cut flower garden was amazing. The childrens tent was really nice too. The Lancaster Co. Amish food co-op I belong to offers camel's milk, but, it was still funny to see one in that context!

❤ Thank you for sharing. One thing I noticed is that these folks don't seem to be scared of heights no matter the age. They seem to be so agile, a balancing act if you wanna call it. And noone is falling off, they all truly have a great standard of safety. And the little kids blend right in, I guess that's how they learn from a young age. Thanks again for taking me along through the lens of your camera.
