That pattern looks more advanced and more difficult. I'm a beginner, should I just stick with the 4 strand pattern and the easier patterns for now, till I think I can do a more advanced one.

And can you get books that have patterns in it, and the steps to do them? There isn't much kumihimo pattern books out there.

CSLdesigns What is the name of the cord like this? There are so many different of cords. Is it similar as waxed cord or something?
@islamraouf185610 жыл бұрын
Is there any rule for the cord length?
@CSLdesigns10 жыл бұрын
islam raouf The general rule is for your cords to be about three times as long as you want your final piece to be. So if you're making a bracelet, wrap the cord around your wrist three times and that will be the length you be working with. I hope that helped :-)

I am grateful

islam raouf or for square kumihimo flat creations, the ratio is 2:1. great vid!
@ImGinaMarie10 жыл бұрын
I couldn't hear how much cord you're suppose to use for your bracelet
@CSLdesigns10 жыл бұрын
The general rule for kumihimo is about three times the length you want your final piece to be per strand.
