When my nana and papa passed away 8 years ago we had the family piper March and play this beautiful tune as they was brought in the church. I’m English and one of my best friends ever was Scottish so when we watched the rugby he’d passionately belt this tune out. Unfortunately I moved schools so we spoke less and then I found out he had ended his own life and I was crushed. As Romanian (and rugby fan), I totally love this anthem. And although I've already heard it twice being sung live, I very much would like to hear it once in Murrayfield, with the bagpipe stopping and the entire stadium singing the second verse a capella. Btw, after the RWC 2023 Scotland-Romania match in Lille (12-0 tries) I've paraphrased your second verse and suggested it as new Romanian anthem: "This game is past now, and in the past, it must remain".

Come on Germany! The first football you played in Germany in 1870s was Rugby football, not Soccer(Association football). Rugby football is a real football, and a man's sport. There's nothing like diving and pretending to be hurt in Soccer game!

I was the woman of an amazing Scotch Man for over 11 Years.! And I still not too sure if he understands or feel anything about This anthem...
