I made one using flowered velum and textured solid paper for my sister's birthday. The hardest part for me was keeping the parts of the flower I assembled from separating while I added the rest. Guess my hands were a bit small. I came up with a solution of using small paperclips to hold the ends together while I worked on it. The end result was fantastic! Thank you so much for this tutorial. You are a very talented artist and do great tutorials.

I love this card,however Peter although I followed your video and worked along side I sometimes found you worked so quickly I had a job seeing everything,especially the folding as I had valleys instead of mountains.I will persevere putting the flower together.I am 81 and determined to master this card,but my patience is wearing thin.Thank you for sharing your skills with us..

Peter you are so kind to reply.I interlocked all the pieces flat and ended with a circLe.I tried again holding in hand as you did.Pieces 1 and 2 were fine but after 2 days I still cant do no 3.I have made little coloured dots by each slit so that I can distinguish pages when slotting them in.My paper has become tired so i will try again after a couple of weeks. My comment about being too fast waS INCORRECT AND YOUR TUTORIAL IS BRILLIANT.iT'S MY OLD HANDS.

Wonderful! What kind of glue is used that will not warp the paper?
@Peter.Dahmen.Papierdesign2 жыл бұрын
Dear Anne Quinn, to glue the petals, I used solvent based glue. Since ingredients vary in different countries, I can't recommend a particular brand. If you can only buy water-based glue in your area - or if you are working with small children - then you can also use water-based glue. In this case, you should press the parts together for a longer time. Pressing them together will keep the paper from curling too much. Do not use liquid glue to glue the backs, because it is difficult to apply it evenly. I used double-sided adhesive sheeting to adhere the backs. You can also use double sided tape. A glue stick will also work. I hope you find my answers helpful and have fun and good luck making your own pop up cards! All the best, Peter
