Reverse Dip
A couple of years ago I painted up 10 flower pots and handed them out to family and friends to test for me. I told them to put out in the sun, on your front porch, wherever you would normally set a flower pot at your house, then at the end of the season, let me know how it held up.
Good News!! Everyone said that they still looked new and had no fading or cracking!!
So I made more and thought I would share some with you!
Painting on a flower pot can sometimes present a challenge to not have your paint run, so I used thicker paints and left the background dry (in this painting) to help.
My pouring mixture is 1 part paint/ 1 part PVA/ 1 part pouring medium/ & 2-3 parts floetrol to obtain consistency.
Colors:
Mars Black - Liquitex
Titanium White - Grumbacher
Light Blue Permanent - Liquitex
Prussian Blue - Grumbacher
Phthalo Blue - Artist Loft
Ice Blue- Deco Art
Turquoise Blue - Amsterdam

You said these are for a local place...I think pottery barn has given you some kind of contract to make designer pottery. You broke that down into 3 sections and made it happen. Peel away some more pots! 😎👍♥️

Hi Lori! I haven't made any this year. Yes you should try them, they are alot of fun :) I have 4 on my deck that I made 3 years ago, so they hold up well.
