I used your video for a Base because you’re the only person I’ve seen who uses this pattern with a buckle. I didn’t make a collar, but made a bracelet. So thanks for that. I would say it was hard to follow only because you used 2 ropes of the same color. So that was tricky. But I pulled it off. :)

Thank you! I get them from a variety of places. Some actually from Ebay/Etsy, some from petsbitsonline (UK) and some from paracord.eu (which if you’re in Europe is an amazing site to get all your gear from!)

I am so confused about the length of the center cord! I want to make a 15 inch collar.

Hi, if you check out my measurement guide in the description it has the length of starter cord needed for different measurements. For a 15” collar I’d use 8ft for the starter cord then 2 feet of cord per flower (approximately 24 foot in total if you’re just doing one colour)

I’m not sure how to add translation but I’ll try to learn. I’m still learning how to use KZbin properly. The only way I know just now is auto translate but with my accent it makes things tricky (and my Spanish is definitely not good enough to translate myself). But I’ll do some research and give it a try.

I added 5-6 inch on top of how long the collar was suppose to be. And it turns out to be way too big. My dog can take this off without releasing the buckle 🥲 Was I misunderstanding the instructions?

Hi, thank you for this comment! I've gone back and I'm not sure what was going on in my head when I said 5-6 inches but yes that would be too much! I would suggest 2-3 inches, the good thing is you can unravel the collar and shorten it (it will just take time and is a pain, so sorry!). I think when I did the calculations I doubled the thickness when I didn't need to. I'll attempt to edit this on the video but for the mean time I'll pop it in the instructions. I do have another video using multiple colours, which I will not also go and check!
