I think why flowertale hurts us so bad is because it reminds all of those who've lost someone to something like cancer. Much like frisk the ones we lost died slowly we watched them slowly and painfully fade away. Every day they become a little weaker and eventually they pass. And even though they pass they leave us with memories and advice that will remain in our hearts forever even after they became one with the garden. Which reminds me of what my parents told me when I was younger. My grandfather passed away but they couldn't tell me that since I was like 5 at the time so instead they told me he was in a special garden where good people go. And looking back I wonder how my parents didn't cry after I said "Can you guys ask him to bring me the prettiest rose he has, from the special garden please?" I have to go get tissues now...

Although the audiobook is not finished the fanfiction still exists and is a trilogy (The Scientist - Entropy - How to Save the World). It has a very high quality of writing and maybe even as depressing as Flowerfell

I have seen this a dozen times now and even after that I still cry in a stream, I personally am not even a big Frans shipper but I can't help but smile and cry out of bitter sadness over this video, the voices, the emotions, the story itself, it all falls together perfectly and makes me cry everytime, I have to say here, there is NO other video or game that got me to spend more than on tear and here I am writing a comment on a year old Video and flooding my desk. The only video and story that has successfully made me want to cry at three in the morning, I just listened to the audio for overgrowth and this really pushed me over the edge, I feel like curling up in a ball and sobbing about how pathetically kind Frisk is and how I can't relate. Then I'll make fan art when and I wake up and sob again about how well done the story and how I wish I could write like that, THEN I'll sob about the creator of flowerfell deleting all their content... then I'll go back to living and keep shipping undertale frisk and underfell sans, this really hit the nail on the head for the ship. Help. Me.
