I make these at Christmas and put a candle in the middle. I have a lot of shrubs in my garden so have plenty of foliage. I use silk flowers rather than fresh. Mixing the fresh foliage with artificial flowers works very well and of course it is far less expensive.

That’s a great idea - and a candle adds atmosphere. I always suggested this to people who arranged flowers in church - collect some silks for use in winter when flowers are expensive. 😀🙋🏼‍♂️

Your post is stunning there are so many videos of real flowers but very little with foam flowers maybe you could do something round or a posy with foam flowers I'm just starting out and I'm scared to start a round or posy silly I know but true yours is fantastic and would love to see you do a foam one brilliant I loved it thanx for sharing

Thank you 😊 that’s a good question - these type of designs will last much better with a daily water to rehydrate the foam - there isn’t really a reservoir for much water in the saucer. If looked after then that makes a huge difference. After that it’s the environment - so cooler, not in full sun, out of a drought - every additional thing will help

Tatiana Selicka thanks for commenting. I think the term posy is a bit open, but essentially it’s a round arrangement - so it could be a posy bouquet, gift or bridal, or a posy arrangement, so arranged in a dish or base, mostly in wet foam. A bouquet is essentially flowers arranged as stems. The term spray is also one that can be applied to different things - a spray corsage, a bouquet spray or a double or single ended spray for a sympathy design.
