You're a godsend, sir! I did all the flowers for our son's wedding last weekend. Your tips and tricks were invaluable, particularly when it came to the cascading bouquet! Everyone said they looked professional, but your videos were my secret "ingredient"! Many thanks!

Och aye~! Please see my response on your Facebook page, dear John! I could not post photos on here, but you were a HUGE part of our wedding festivities. I couldn't help but include you. Especially because of the Scottish factor~! ... Me being half Scots, my dear mother from Lanark (and a graduate of Moray House, Edinburgh), ... also my post-grad at St Andrews. Never mind any of that! The great advice you passed on ... for the cascading bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, the boutonierres and corsages were inestimably beneficial. MANY THANKS. Beth x

Simplicity itself. Thanks for the handy tips. I was advised to leave the gypsophila to have a good drink overnight before trying to untangle it to use. After watching your tutorials, I’ve now included double sided carpet tape in the tool box. I might need a bigger box soon.😃
@FlowerJoos6 жыл бұрын
J * the tape is an Oasis product, but before they started making it specifically for florists I used to use carpet tape - available in DIY stores 😀

J * I need to clean my toolbox out - but it’s good to have items like that - can be used in other ways as well.

Thanks for the tutorial John. Gypsophila is one of my favorite and I’ve seen that it’s coming back in design. I know a lot of people still don’t like it, to me it gives a simple and innocent look 😊♎️.

Libra thank you - yes, very simple and maybe not for everyone, but both the gypsophilia and this style of bouquet are good in certain situations.

beautiful , how many stems would u say used for this bouquet?
@FlowerJoos5 жыл бұрын
l t about five stems should do - but you can get different grades or weights of material, so take that into account.

what kind of flower tape did you use?
@FlowerJoos5 жыл бұрын
A Loyd this was a clear double sided sticky tape - from Oasis, and then ribbon to finish. 😀
@danceforme2 жыл бұрын
May I know what is the width of your ribbons?
@FlowerJoos2 жыл бұрын
I hunk this was 2 inches wide - but it was a while ago. I find different widths give different results. Wider is quicker but more obvious and a medium size is ideal . Narrow takes too long and is better for corsage work ( and is more prone to unravel if not double sided taped underneath ). 🌼😀

Where can I order that tape you use? I always enjoy your videos
@FlowerJoos6 жыл бұрын
Becr8tive 21 this is an oasis product - bit you find some in DIY stores or craft shops. You can even use carpet tape 😀

I love your videos! The only thing is that the million star we get here smells nasty! Definitely not perfumy!
@FlowerJoos6 жыл бұрын
Mario Ramirez the best way to solve this is open up the wrap, take off the cellophane and shake the bunch to allow air through it - cut stems and leave to condition in an airy place. The smell should disperse with the more air. 😀
