Good effort. I have been trying to propagate this way. The problem is the cutting after showing signs of growth dries. Don't know why this happens.

Additionally, lack of sunlight, transplant shock, and stress due to overwatering can also cause Bougainvillea to lose its leaves and eventually die . To ensure the success of Bougainvillea cuttings, it is important to use well-draining soil, avoid overwatering, and protect the plants from cold temperatures . Providing the plants with adequate sunlight and avoiding transplant shock can also help promote healthy growth
