I highly recommend following along with a hard copy of the text along with listening to this audiobook. You would not be able to capture the essence of Charlie's progress without seeing the text as well. Keyes' use of grammar and spelling (or lack thereof) is a major factor in this book. The narrator does an amazing job. He is able to capture Charlie's character spot on.

Yeah I agree. You can really sense in the first few diary entries that he truly has a child's mind by how he writes and misspells certain words.

This was so well-read. THANK YOU! I read this book many years ago. This audiobook allowed me to revisit an old friend. And as an audiobook, I was able to listen while driving or before bed or while cooking. And the narrator was exceptional. Just perfect. Thanks.

I had no idea this book existed until one day I saw a picture of it on my friend's Instagram. The book that he had was in Russian. Since I speak English I decided it was worth reading it in the language it was initially created. I got immensely impressed. I cried and I laughed, and I enjoyed it very very much! Thank you Mr. Keyes.

It's 2 am and I can't stop listening! My eyes beg me to rest but my imagination demands I know more. I've been reading/listening for 8 hours (off and on) and I feel so emotional. And even as I listen, I relate to Alice when she says that she feels herself academically declining. I've also noticed my diction and expressions have slightly changed when I talk to others because I feel the need to live up to the standards of Charlie. This comment would have been so much shorter if I didn't compare myself to this fictional character

No man, how could it end like that... atleast give him something or take it all away, let him be who he was before. Innocent. But that ending is difficult to listen too, seeing the end coming.
