Great video & it looks like you guys were having fun!

Thank you for your kind words. We like stuff that flies straight out of the bag. Great that it matched our turbines so well.

A big beautiful kite and great lifter. Thanks for showing it.

Thanks Carl - Good to see that you are surviving the storms down there. Given time and the right weather, wind in the right direction etc, I want to do a video with the kite fully loaded with tubes and crazy tails. Crazy tubes on the back do tend to weigh the kite down so it may take a while.

This, newer version of the Flowform is, in my opinion, much better than the the older style shown in some of my earlier videos.

Thank you - we like it too. It grabs a lot of attention. I think people like the rainbow colours.

How much pull can this kite generate in gusty winds? Can you estimate in pounds? I see a big kite like this, and I am concerned it could be a bit dangerous if there's a sudden 30 mph gust. Got knocked down pretty hard once in that situation.

Allan, I see you have the 3 and 5. What are your thoughts on this kite?
@CloseEncounters6 жыл бұрын
My personal opinions are that the 3 is a good, take anywhere kite especially for stronger winds. I found the 5 to be heavy and needed a good breeze but very stable. This, 7, is my favourite as it flies in a low wind and has good lifting power through to managing higher gustier winds.

Of course the kites I show in the other videos are the old style HQ Flowforms. This new model is much better - I assume the other sizes will be too!
@MichaelKSherman4 жыл бұрын
@@CloseEncounters Allen, what makes this model better than the older one other than the colors are visible on the underside? I don't understand why the older ones had white in front.

@@MichaelKSherman Nice to see your interest Michael but you are asking like I designed them. I just liked it and I needed something strong and stable so I bought it.

@@CloseEncounters Oh no... haha... Didn't mean to imply that. In your earlier response you'd said this new version is much better than the old. Just wondered in what way it's better. I see an old version (used) for sale and wondered why you like the new version better - that's all.
