Fantastic video, once again Peter!!!!!! With regard to the theoretic aspect, I had someone try to explain full ROM this way. Volume is a driver for hypertrophy. Volume is a measurement of work done, with W=Fxd. With full ROM d is larger hence work done is increased....any merit in this?????

Potentially, I have thought about this idea too. However if we reduce range of motion we are also able to use more weight or perform more reps which probably makes up for the reduced work when sets are taken close to failure. Furthermore, hypertrophy can be equally achieved per set across a spectrum of different rep ranges and loads, which means that total work performed with each set probably doesn't fully explain the ROM findings. It is an interesting topic though, thanks for your contribution 👍

Hey Peter i always have pain in my right front delt when i do bench press or any kind of chest exercises even if i have a long rest and go back to chest exercise the pain will come back on my shoulder . What can i do to fix that problem

Here are some suggestions: 1. Adjust technique and see if there are any ways to make the movement pain free 2. Try reducing your total weekly pressing volume slightly 3. If pain persists, give find ways to train the chest with different movements (eg. Chest flys, pec deck dips, pushups)

Have you heard about the overshoot phenomenon? It's when you rest and since your muscles don't undergo endurance activities, your muscle fibers need less of that endurance component, and they get more fast twitch. There's too little info on that, maybe you know something about it
