How long do you make the main part of the hat?

You do it your head size. measure one of your hats that is the size you like or used a chart for head size.

Beautiful stitch.. I tried the pattern and was getting a little bit of laddering so I decided to take my project apart….maybe I’ll try it again in the future

it doesnt ladder there is no ewrap. what may be happening is your yarn is not thick enough for the gauge of your loom
