Thank you, Rory. Your presentations are very easy to follow and was very helpful. But as footnotes and endnotes are missing from Affinity Plusher, can you let us know how to do it manually? I am struggling to put some footnotes in a manuscript. Thank you!

This may be a bit off-topic, but here goes: Haven't yet watched all your videos (and I thank you for them); but would be helpful if you had one specific to creating ebooks from Affinity Publisher. Granted, there are many ebook formats, so that may complicate things; but for starters, would be nice to have one which offers page-flip and is widely acceptable and usable on as many operating systems as possible. Thanks in Advance!

Hi there Richard, Thanks for your comment, it's greatly appreciated. I suppose you didn't know that at this stage Affinity Publisher does not have the capability to compile E-Books in any format other than PDF documents. PDF documents could be classed as "electronic" in a sense, but not in the way that we expect E-Books to perform for us. I suspect that the creators of Affinity Publisher are working on this module at the moment and will make it available at some stage. There are some things that Affinity Publisher still does not have available such as footnotes and endnotes. The discussion about this simple functionality which Adobe InDesign is capable of doing has been going on for some time on the Affinity Publisher forums as is E-Book creation. So, for now we will need to find other means of creating E-Books until this function or module is added. Regards to you.

Thanks for sharing this. However, I just watched almost half of your tutorial "creating a book from scratch" and set up all the Headers, chapters, text styles, and I'm ready to import a word manuscript. So, that's not the way to do it if using a Word.docx? You should import it first, then add all the text styles?

Hi there Jamesgang, Thanks very much for your comment. In the past I was an Adobe InDesign user and learned how to set up a document in that way. I also know that when importing an MS Word document into Affinity Publisher, that Word brings all of it's text styles along with it so I do agree with you that it would be better to rather import the document first.

it seems to me that there are quite a number of glitches in the software

Hi there Jyotiba, I'm not sure if you have the windows version or the Mac version, but I have all three Affinity products on my MacBook Pro and Publisher works just fine for me. Affinity does release updates to fix bugs every so often, but I am not sure when the next update will be released. Hope you get your issues with Affinity Publisher sorted out. Regards to you.

@@RoryMolePublishing for example, if I define the header paragraph to start on next odd page, the publisher keeps adding two blank pages if the body paragraph ends on even page.
