Thank you for this talk. I do an hour long walking meditation around the lake in our neighborhood. As I walked and listened to your teaching and looked at the water, I felt transported to another time and universe. All became very peaceful and there was a letting go.

Thank you Jack. The synth music is really off putting. Your voice is all that’s needed.

Yes, the talk is wonderful as always. I found the synth distracting. ❤

@@TascountrygirlYes, It is hard to concentrate on what Jack was saying. The music needs to be more in the background.

So refreshing to hear from a younger version of yourself , Jack. I had heard that Hawaii story from Sharon Salzberg who was there. Her version said that they had no time to get to higher ground so they sat and practiced and remained in the moment as if it were possibly their last moments. The water metaphor resonates with me as well. I used to scuba dive and one of my practicum talks for MMTCP I used neutral buoyancy as a metaphor for reaching equanimity. Water is life and in scuba it can be death as well if you are not paying attention. That balance between defines everything.

Absolutely beautiful! I hate to say, but the background music, though lovely, is too loud and a bit stressful while listening...

I was unable to finish this one due to the background noise. Perhaps unable is the wrong word. I could have but I chose not to.
