Jack is one of the greatest story tellers. His voice has this beautiful gental, playful wisdom that is so engaging. He weaves poems, quotes, stories and philosophy together with his own life experiences in a truly unique and magical way. Thankyou Jack.

Thank you so much for these-the most recent recordings of Jack Kornfield i’d ever heard. A comforting blanket of stories. [Have to muse about 1:13:50 how saccharine the premise of this book always seemed and hearing of it again (after its remaindered and forgot at large) its never felt more willfully naïve than in 2023-the violences of starvation houselessness and imprisonment, the violence of environmental damage, the European-American rise of the (violent) far-right, enslavement of farmworkers or the vanishing of indigenous people, police violence, multiple active genocides (as in Congo & Palestine*)-plus all these ignored by the same media outlets praising the feel-good ahistorical slice of sociology that was Pinker’s book…] But there’s so much more in here than that! *Both of which Jack so mindfully includes in these talks, at 1:54:54 so poignantly. “God may we remember.”

I was enjoying listening to him when I realized he reminds me of Ram Dass and then he mentioned talking with him which is really cool. Would of been amazing to see Ram Dass at his retreat, hopefully I can see this guy live.

His physical presence would be wonderful to bask in. As would have been that of Ram Dass. In the meanwhile listen to them on Here and Now network or channels on KZbin or Spotify. Then nurture and grow your own unique offering to the presence all around us. Keep going.

I always enjoy being in his presence. Hopefully, you’ll have an opportunity to retreat with him soon.

The human experience quantifies Time as being infinite. Couple this with the consideration that the Cosmos is also infinite and inseparable from Time here is my question. Would you like some Toast?

Sounds like something Douglas Adams would say.

I love the story, but I am not for the all fluffy alroach. Sometimes the kindest thing to do for a person is point then to the truth about themselves and stop enabeling them in avoiding accountability.
