Flowmaster Super 10 with no cats

Silverado 5.3 with no cats and with a super 10 flowmaster. So far my favorite exhaust setup!

Getting rid of the cats makes these Chevys sound so much more aggressive in tone and growl wise...I have a 88 Silverado 5.7 tbi single in dual out Super10 with my tail pipes mandrel bend coming out the corners of my rear bumper and i love the way it sounds....I love it so much i bearly play my stereo these days while im driving...lol...and you are sounding real good there Bro.

It's crazy how much of a deeper tone even idling you get from a 2006 5.3 with no cats compared to a 2006 5.4 3v with no cats. I would assume the 5.3 sounds raspy as hell to like the 5.4 giving it hard gas down the road though

I got a flowmaster 40 with no cats and it was way too quiet it was even quieter than straight pipes with cats I’m definitely getting a super 10 im just wondering was the super 10 too bad in the cab or was it similar in volume or is the 10 way louder

I have a 2001 and I just put a super 10 flowmaster muffler and exhaust on catback exhaust kept my catalytic converters on it's pretty loud it sounds sweet but it would be awesome if I cut my cats out especially with a dual exhaust system man your truck would sound way better if it was a dual system but it sounds pretty good for being stock

Depending on the vehicle and the stock exhsust, usually the 02 sensors are just before the cats, if you take the 02 sensors out it won’t run right, so if you do a cat delete you have to either leave the stick pipe where the sensors are or drill a new hole and put them back

Your always gonna get a check engine light when you remove a Catalytic converter. It throws an emissions code. Theres ways around it like a spark plug fouler, 02 sensor simulators, and much more. You just have to do some research. It is illegal in many states to remove the catalytic converters. I got away with removing mine because my county has a law where if the vehicles over 20 years old, it doesn't have to pass emissions

Nice truck but that super 10 sounds like your blowing air it doesn't have that raspy sound when you mash the gas however it's raspy when you let off the gas, now my 02 6.0 Silverado has long tube headers true dual exhaust with the cats no mufflers and sounds awesome in the cab with a deep throaty tone and outside the cab sounds even better

When you do stuff like that, you always have to get the tune adjusted, or she's not gonna run well. Air in, fuel, and air out are the main things that affect how the computer compensates.

Yes the carven r is way louder, its a straight through design kinda like a straight pipe , the super 10 has chamber walls it muffles the sound more , ive had both and currently have the carven r , hope that helps

Wiley Bennett I have no cats and super 10s and it sounds great. You’ll have a cel if you just cut the cat and put in pipe. No negative effect but if u gut the cats and then put them back if u run spark plugs foulers to space the 02 sensor there won’t be any light on.
