Yea I wanted to take a different route but I did the O/R X and super 44s for around 150 bucks. So I couldn't really beat that haha

I like chambered mufflers. I suppose you have never heard Super 44's in person. They sound NOTHING like what you just described. Mine had a very deep hollow pipe sound at low rpms then a Raspy sound at high rpms. No tin can involved. I turned heads everywhere I went and got compliments all the time. I dont think its the best sounding exhaust but it didnt sound like a tin can.

Wether you like Flowmasters or not... they don't sound anything like a "tin Can" ... how does a Tin Can sound anyways? Cuz I've heard plenty before and they sound nothing like loud exhaust on a car.

@reverseoreo08 Well a Thrush Welded is basically a Flowmaster 40 for half the price, open one of those mufflers up , anyone with some welding material and some spare metal can make a chambered muffler, its just a hollow shell with some flaps welded inside to tune the sound, i had a Thrush welded installed in a 92 Firebird V8 and it sounded exactly the same as any other Fbody with a flowmaster 40.

And I have PI Heads.. its a 2000 model.. the black one has a PI swap. and by "port Polish" I'm assuming you're talking about the heads? and a 5.4 as in the truck/suv motor or the badass S/C 5.4 used for example in the Shelbys until recently? Cuz they sound good stock.....

I've watched cars make passes at dragstrips and what I heard was that the loudest cars were either straight piped or Cherry Bombs. When I heard a car with flowmsaters go by, it just didn't sound as loud to me as the cars that had Cherry Bombs or straight pipes.

The reasons why I prefer Cherry Bombs is that they are classic and that they are louder than flowmasters. It also doesn't alter the car's sound as much as flowmasters do.

cb for consiancy, but lacks deepness FM's for low RPM, but the snarl at high RPM is nasty, if you could use the FM for low-mid rpm and the CB for high RPM you would have a win.

Aaron Cardwell when you have stock mid pipe and stock headers maybe. My Mustang Gt new edge has 44 flowmasters with bbk headers intake and a tune and a couple other bolt ons. my car sounds much louder than these.

Its the stock Headers, Stock pipes (aside from xpipe) just xpipe and dual flowmaster super 44s. the video didnt do it justice that thing sounded sick in person. Odd Most 99-04 Mustang GT's are generally cheap. I've never owned one that cost more then 5k. The red one in this video I only payed 2500 for. It was just a plain ole Bone Stock 5 speed GT with less then 60K miles on it. The 02' in my other vids I only payed 4500 for and it was custom with a lot of bolt ons. cammed. etc. So you must have gotten your V6 pretty damn cheap to have bought it and mod it to hang with GT's and still be 3K cheaper. Not calling you out or anything thats a good deal.

@xmodrock I like the Flowmasters over borla depending on the car. Borla does sound nice. and they perform well. But the Flowmaster on a mustang just.. go together. its like meant to be. I have a 02 Mustang GT now with long tubes. X pipe. And either 40's or 44's.. havent actually checked. they were already on the car. also with dumps. and the car just sounds so fucking sick. my rich buddy has borlas on his 04 GT same setup without dumps and I prefer the flows! but to each his own

@reverseoreo08 They have no curves or any bends so they actually will outflow the flowmasters, they are cheap becuase thats what a fucking muffler should cost , paying 90 dollars or 120 dollars for a piece of hollow metal , u can get Thrush Welded mufflers for 30 dollars in any size at any autoparts store and they are basically the same damn thing as flowmasters 40s, u are actually paying for the name brand not the muffler.

For girls, Older people, or someone who can not afford a V8 a V6 is fine.. good on gas. sportyish... its okay.. But 99.9% of people would and will choose a V8 over a V6. Plus you have the option to get behind the wheel of GT. So if you ever wanna go fast or feel the rumble you can.. your not just stuck in a V6
