​@luiscruz5556 that's a bad metric. Just because the match goes to OT, doesn't necessarily mean the match winner will be one or the other. Look at all the times David Taylor and Kyle Dake wrestled super close matches.

​@@KadenDressel Bo would have to win 1 more time. Zep would have to win 2 more times. This match was close. So anything could happen. Maybe with more time to think strategy, rewatch tapes, and work on his weaknesses, Zep could make a comeback. This rubber match was only weeks after their 2nd match. Bo better not get complacent either. Nobody trains harder than a guy wanting revenge and believes it's within his reach.

That's going to make Zepeda(and I'd bet it already has) so much better. This is three times in a short period of time they've wrestled. A Cali kid like him? Taking home stop signs? Why would he be busting his ass to try and get so much better when he'd already be the #1 kid in the Country(by a lot) if this were 10-15 years ago? I was in HS "just" 20 years ago and I remember watching old video of Gable and Peterson Brothers and...whoever. And You just thought that looked sloppy. Well...I look at these kids and the chain Wrestling and the scrambles and the Wrestling of my era just..looks boring! This kids really are just on another level. It's a calm aggression out there. When we wrestled, it was more physical, more banging, more just beating each other up trying to get a 3-2 win(if you're Wrestling another AA or whatever). These kids are every big as physical when they need to be, but so much more advanced...

Here's the deal.. Bassett puts in more work / time than anyone else in the country! He's a go getter ! That doesn't mean he is the sickest , Best guy on top, or bottom . He isn't flashy he isn't anything other than a D.O.G!!! His gas tank and his preparation is why he wins matches! While others sit back and watch and dream they could be the best..... 💭! That young man is out there making it happen! . He has flaws just like the rest of us trust me! With that said .. All of you young men who are watching this ... That Have more ability , wits, guts . Need to figure out that it's not hard to be good at wrestling. It's all about effort and attitude! F.I.O ! Figured it out ! Put the work in . See what happens! I know Zepeda likes to scramble but I always get a little worried when guys get that comfortable with people getting to their legs. Look at Kyle Dake relying on the chest wrap or Yianni. Yes they are great but eventually guys figure it out. Might be worth trying to be more impenetrable with the defense and not letting guys enter as much, like Marcus Blaze. I don't know. Just my 2cents.
