Will this dual be televised? It should be on ESPN! If they want this sport to grow they need to start giving it the exposure it needs!! Would love to see the marquee match ups in this dual!!

It’s funny how certain styles gravitate to certain programs and coaches. Iowa is more no nonsense, heart, relentless conditioning, and stamina mixed with technique but breaking you in the third period just like the Brands bros. Those type of wrestlers like Metcalf Lee and Disantos and so on go there. Ok State has more of the Guerreo, JO, Gumby slickness and ridiculous quick scrambling and technique. Low level attacks, plenty of speed and slick throw bys and shrugs. Those types seem to gravitate to John Smith. Iowa is like a run heavy all defense nfl team and OK state is like a team that airs it out successfully every play! It’s cool to see this rivalry and the style clash of athletes that chose to go to Michigan and ASU! Looking forward toward seeing many years of this rivalry growing! Michigan reminds me more of Iowa and ASU reminds me more of OK State style wise!

@Skeltzo3 жыл бұрын
Waiting to see how Suriano looks back at 125, bit of a weight cut from 133 and against a NCAA finalist at 125 last year. Worthy first match back for Suriano and a huge test for Courtney to see where exactly he lines up this year. This season could be a repeat of 2018 NCAA finals at 125 with Lee and Suriano back at it again. However big question would be health and injury for both 🤷🏽♂️
@Skeltzo3 жыл бұрын
Nvm Lee's injury is too bad for this year, so ig this might or might not be the matchup at 125 this year BUT things could turn the other way and lets hope spencer makes a good recovery for next year if he comes back

@@npierce14 No, I don't EVER see Suriano beating Spencer Lee. Only time was when Spence was in Junior High and Suriano was a 10th or 11th grader. The loss he hung on Suriano was alot worse than the 5-1 score. He let Suriano go with about 6 seconds left in the match. And as usual, he rode him like a horse too. To bad he want still be in College next year, and THATS if Spencer is back next year. ACL's are a hard surgery to come back totally from, in a year. Much less BOTH ACL's...
