Chance was the most intuitive wrestler as a child that I ever encountered. He would eat Dip & Dot ice cream and tell you about every wrestler that he would face. I was always amazed by his insights at such a young age. My son wrestled on the same All Star team with him and substance abuse hit them both. Thankfully they are both driven people who beat addiction. Congratulations Chance, I’m always impressed by you. I hope that you and yours have a wonderful Holiday Season👍🏻❤️🇺🇸

Thank you so much for opening up about your family issues. You have a story that can inspire unfortunatly 100,000’s of kids going through what you went through.

This should be watched by every wrestling coach out there. Terrible mentoring and ridiculous expectations caused this. Amazing story. Inspiring

I relate to chance so much.. I found myself in a really dark space for a few years, away from the sport and it almost killed me. Wrestling saved my life

Great story of perseverance and I like that the Pennsylvania coaching tree continues from Kolat to Marsteller to--eventually--the next Stellar Trained prodigy.... He is giving back to the sport. He could be especially helpful advising youth of the dangers of drugs and alcohol.

FFS - THIS STORY IS JUST STARTING. Anyone that knows someone in addiction knows that they don't "beat it". THEY LIVE IT. You're in recovery forever unless you view it this way. They "experts" in this story know NOTHING TO about addiction. This guy needs lifelong help.

Absolutely not. What he’s doing now for the drug problem in wrestling will give him greater rewards than winning NCAA titles
@Collartie5 күн бұрын
He has still made a huge name for himself with his wrestling career overall by making the Olympic team and having to go through Burroughs. His club is successful and perhaps he'll even get a chance to be an RTC or College coach where most people would be black-balled from the NCAA coaching ranks for life if they had any legal issues ever in their history.
