I grew up in a small town in Southern Colorado, and we loved watching Floyd Little play for the Broncos. God bless you and your family with your current medical struggle.

I grew up in Floyd hometown, minutes from where he was an all American HS running back. Heard stories growing up of his legendary status. RIP to a legend from New Haven CT

I grew up in Denver when, during the early years, we couldn't muster a winning season. During that time when we might win only 4 games a season, Little was at the top in the league year after year. Floyd Little not only gave us first class play, but pride and hope that the team would eventually be taken serious and as a legitimate contender. He is the reason I love football to this day. RIP #44.

My father got season tickets to the Broncos the year the franchise was established. Row 54 in the South Stands. I grew up watching Floyd Little run for Denver. It was a different game back then. My brother still holds the season tickets but the old Mile High Stadium is now long gone.

Came here after watching "The Express" movie about Ernie Davis..who was the first African American to be awarded the Heisman....Floyd was recruited to Syracuse because of Ernie, or at least that is what the movie portrayed..

Ben Schwartzwalder sure knew how to pick em!! Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little. Oh, and throw in power backs Jim Nance and Larry Csonka. What a quintet. Syracuse was running back U well before USC claimed that title. Truly an elite group of platers.

Probably Syracuse’s finest ambassador of all the Greats who played for the Orangemen Floyd Little was certainly the torchbearer through some very lean years up at the Dome he never turned his back on the 🍊

No Disrespect to Floyd, but if he's in the H.O.F two other RB's from the 70's should be in also who wore #44 Chuck Foreman and Robert Newhouse who both were better

On one play against duhBears, Floyd gets CREAMED by DickButkus; Little gets up and_ after a couple, three drunkin pirouettes_ reaches the huddle only to see-hear Butkus tell him, "Floyd, your huddle is over there." Hee. True story!
