@@notmebutyou8350I’ve been at it for a little over a month, I can do the boxer skip and that’s about it for now. I’m going to try to learn toe kicking out which I think I can learn without too much trouble. I’m about 6 feet and 200lbs. Once you start doing footwork it takes some time for your knees and shins to start agreeing with you. Till then you feel pretty busted up the next day after jumping. I’m just trying to slowly cut down rest time until I don’t feel sore the next day.

@tawtam1
@tawtam1 3 жыл бұрын
@@guidooctavio3982 Boxing is not about being a role model. Parents should be role models. Secondly, if you bothered to do some research you would then understand that he admitted to domestic violence even though he said he did nothing wrong because he didn't want to cancel his fight he had. That's his money, just as you have a job boxing is his. Like you need your money he needs his. People get arrested everyday and admit to minor offenses so they don't have to go through the hassle of hiring a lawyer and enduring a long legal process. There are innocent people that get arrested everyday. You choose to believe what you want. But, that doesn't make it a fact. The reality is the only people that know the truth are the two individuals involved. There was zero physical evidence by the way. But, you would know that if you took the time to look it up. But haters will continue to hate. Much as they did with Mike Tyson. He was found guilty of rape. I don't like Mike. However, I don't believe he raped that woman at all. It was a money grab for her and an easy target. Happens to black people all of the time.

Goong from High to low Is one thing AND then goong back to High Is quite another. You need to have a really goood stamina,breath control AND coordination. I cant perform the intervals as him ...Lets not even talk about how smoothly he does It.

I believe it helps build endurance. In a boxing match, you have to be able to be able to continue fighting even when fatigued. Both jumping rope and running help increase the ability to continue fighting when tired and decrease the chances of getting exhausted early on.
@viawilderness

All of the above. Cardiovascular, rhythm is big in boxing, timing, endurance/stamina, mental focus, ...footwork, muscle (especially calves ankles and shins.) I don't even box competitively and I try to jump rope as often as I can. It just compliments boxing moreso than most other sports.

how do you do it?
@keithmutamba1395
@keithmutamba1395 5 ай бұрын
@@Z4NKA1 you need to understand the basics right. So obviously there is the boxer step. Which is really basic learning how to tap your feet in rhythm with the rope is good. Then learn crossovers just simple crossovers with both feet jumping at the same time. When more comfortable do boxer step and do crossovers. Next you need to learn how to run m so you start with learning how to jog in a rope. You started by hopping on one leg for both sides. Then it’s a case of trial and error till you find your rhythms. Crossover running, once you find your rhythm running you need to find when to crossover while running just figure out how to do one then keep running. Double under crossover. You want to jump high on the first skip then crossover in the air. That’s the rhythm. Figure out how to do one then try two. Then when you get really comfortable blitz them. The foundations are the key

This is very impressive. Full disclosure I’m not the biggest Mayweather fan in the world, but he may be the best defensive fighter that I’ve ever seen.

surprised noone is mentioning how crazy this guys center of gravity is. Super stable when hoping around, always centered in his skips no matter where he places his feet. Crazy impressive

He doesn't even run icuent504 he stays in the pocket, too many think they know about Boxing types mistaken his dodging & countering his opponents' punches as for running. Sad, Boxing fans now a days aren't too smart.

icuent504 lol demarcus corley, Miguel Cotto, Philip n'dou, just to name a couple of fighters he brawled with. You most likely never stepped in the right at all if you think he's a runner.
