What Conor has accomplished in MMA doesn't come close to what Floyd has accomplished in boxing. Conor is great, but he's not even at the top of his own sport. That spot is reserved for JJ, Cruz, MIghty Mouse and possibly DC as well. So if he's not the most talented fighter in MMA, how can you even compare him to arguably the most talented current boxer. Conor is really a product of timing and marketing. Look at who he has actually beat. Eddie Alvarez. Good fighter, but he's not elite. He got the title by beating RDA post-USADA. RDA after USADA is an entirely different fighter. He just lost to Tony Ferguson as well. Conor is currently 1-1 with Nate Diaz. Someone that isn't even top 5 at his weight class. He beat Chad Mendes on extremely short notice as well. When you look at Conor's resume his only impressive win is against Jose Aldo. Too early to be comparing him to the likes of Floyd.

Well, when you defeat 22 world champions not many of those fighters were considered average. Also, when you are an undefeated, 12 time world champion in 5 different weight classes & ranked #1 fighter of all time via boxrec in 2016 you probably are really great fighter. So don't compare Mcgregor to Floyd. After all, if Mcgregor is so great why is it that every time they talk about him, they talk about Floyd. Why is that? no b ess no b ess what do you mean? how is it a dumb analogy? he's measuring his success and ability based on the amount income he made. does that make mlk, da Vinci, military troops, or anybody else who earns/has earned less than him insignificant to the world when compared to Floyd? he's one of the greatest to ever step in the ring, but to say comparing him and Conor is disrespectful is bs. any amateur mma fighter would destroy Floyd in a fight with no rules, let alone Connor.

Nathaniel Primous haha good point. but to be fair out of the 40 fights he had, only like 6-10 were big fights. that number could be higher, or even lower, depending on what you think of the fighters he's fought.
