Pac is gonna be looking for a knockout all night until the fight ends and even in a lucky scenario of flooring Mayweather he'd still lose the fight because Floyd regains composure quickly. I honestly think the key to beating Floyd is smart, unorthodox volume punching. Which is precisely why Pacquiao is a bad match up for Floyd. Floyds defence isn't really ambidextrous, it's designed to be used against conventional boxers, not southpaws that throw awkward combinations. (because of this, and the fact that Floyd has a little size/reach advantage, I predict that Mayweather will adjust by walking Pacquiao down from round 4 onwards with a more conventional high guard, throwing shooting jabs and hooks to the body) Pacquiao throws many combinations at awkward angles. He's also more precise and measured than Maidana. I think it's possible that Pacquiao could win a decision just by throwing enough punches to win rounds. Even if Mayweather blocks most of the punches, and counters effectively, I fear he won't throw enough punches, and the sheer volume of punches from Pacquiao, along with all of the Pactards cheering every-time he throws a punch, will sway the judges. This is not an ideal match-up for Floyd, and it will be interesting to see the outcome. My predictions in terms of likelihood: most likely: Floyd by close decision second most likely: Pacquiao by close SD. (I do think if there's a SD situation, Pacquiao will get the nod due to crowd pressure. Imagine how much easier your life would be as a judge, if you gave that final point to Pacquiao instead of Mayweather). third: Floyd by semi-wide decision 3-5 points. fourth: Pacquiao by TKO fifth: Mayweather by TKO I doubt anyone is getting knock-out out in this fight.

It's funny how i find that a lot of the people who say that Manny will beat Floyd share similar traits with the people who thought that the world would end in 2012. If you think that will happen then you haven't been watching close enough. Just because you want it to happen doesn't mean it will. BTW on a completely unrelated note I would love to see Manny take on Maidana. I mean he would still get killed but the odd would be better for him than fighting Mayweather.

I'm a Pacquiao fan but most of them Manny fans never stepped in the ring. They don't know what it's like to get hit by a puncher. Mayweather might start boxing once he feels Pacquiao's punch but I wouldn't blame him, I would do the same thing. After all boxing is all about hitting and not get hit.

I'm a huge Floyd Mayweather fan and hope he defeats Manny Pacquaio on 2 May 15, but this fight will NOT be"easy work". Manny is a formidable boxer, and comes across as a genuine class act. Floyd will enter this fight bigger and stronger than Manny. With his speed and him being a superb ring technician, I think Floyd will win 'IF" he takes the fight to Manny. If Floyd spends to much time on defense, he will be taking a huge risk at losing to many rounds. I think the fight goes the distance. Should be one hell of a fight.
