Glad to see the updates. I hate to hear that the Coleman store has closed. We really loved the one in Pigeon Forge, from what I can tell from google, it closed as well. One of how favorite stores in town was there almost 20 years that I can remember at least. 😟 It was one of the last stores in the old Belz mall, before it finally closed.

Looking forward to Dig'n Zone in April, checking out Buc-ees that opened, hitting Dollywood, The Old Mill (again), The Island (again), and hopefully catch a dinner show. I think I've mentioned before, there's a store in Pigeon Forge that sells pottery that I make. A nail making some pottery for another store over toward townsend. We really liked the Mountain coaster at skyland ranch.

Hi guys. Just looking for advice a bit. We’re from the UK and heading to Tennessee next year with a week in Gatlinburg area. We were going early to mid October but have had to change our dates to November. Is there anything we’ll miss out on or anything that’s better in Nov to Oct. Have loved watching your vids the last few months as we’ve been planning our amazing trip.

The main thing would be the fall colors. Decorations around town switch from fall pumpkins to full blown Christmas at the beginning of NOV. The weather in OCT is my favorite but NOV is not bad. Everyone wants to see the leaves in OCT so it can be VERY busy. Hopefully this helps, feel free to ask questions anytime, we are happy to help!

Been watching your videos for our trip to the Smokies. We visited Gatlinburg for the first time today and were shocked by the parking prices. Every place was charging $20 to park. No place seemed to offer any kind of hourly parking. We were only there for a couple of hours so the price was exorbitant. Are there places that charge by the hour or offer free parking?

Yes, there is a $2/hr off river road. The city parking garages are $10 for the day.

We were there 2 weeks ago. Just not a vibe for me. Too many people, traffic was horrible, parking was few and far between in the park. They need to improve the roads and parking for sure. We camped in Elkmont Campground and sadly it is tired and outdated. We made the best of it. Maybe we will try again during a less busy time. It feels like when you walk into McDonalds at 1115am and they are out of french fries. Uhh, you didn't realize it was lunch time, the busiest time of the day? Likewise, the Smoky Mountain NP is the most visited park in the states, but they act like they don't know that. My wife says I am too salty, probably.

The camera is mounted to the side of the vehicle. I was in one lane. You can pan in zoom the footage when you edit to focus on what you are talking about😉
