Same with my family. I am yearning to rent a cabin on the mountain again and go to Dollywood. Have never been there as an adult. Was a child when parents took my family when it was the Silver Dollar park I think ???

At the Celebration buffet, you can choose any or all of the dessert items and eat as many servings as you like. Right? Do you ever meet up with fans of your channel and eat a meal with them at Dollywood?

The sausage dogs from Fanny Farkles Arcade in Gatlinburg is my #1 go to when I visit!! Apple cider and apple fritters from the Apple barn and restaurant, not the grill, and chocolates from the Ole Smoky Mountain chocolate factory!! Plus the food is amazing, especially the soup, from the Dixie Stampede! *Im from the area, it’s always going to be Dixie to me respectively. I have love for all the people in the past. You try to erase the bad, you forget the victims that need to be remembered. Just imho.

If you love okra, you’d love my shrimp and crab gumbo. I was raised and lived on the Gulf Coast and make the gumbo Cajun style taught to my mom then to me by my French aunt. It’s delicious!!! Our very favorite. Wish you could have some. ❤

That looks significantly better than your previous trip to that buffet and looks like someplace I would go out of my way for now. I'd probably have a plate loaded with the potatoes, green beans, brisket & pork. Heck, I think I'd even go to town on all those hot dogs! I do wish the spinach & artichoke "dip" didn't have mushrooms as I'm allergic to them and LOVE a good spinach & artichoke dip, but I guess I'm not a good spore. (ba dum-dum) I think I'd still come out ahead on price at this buffet for my son with all the hot dogs, mac & cheese and ice cream cups he'd go through.

I think it’s tailored to larger families to feed the kids etc a lot of food for cheap, I can see what they were going for as an alternative to grannies as some people might not feel comfortable asking a server for another plate of food and possibly feeling judged.

Have y’all heard of mamas farm house I ate there it’s in pigeon Forge on pickle street lol but they have such good food there I love pigeon forge and Dollywood it’s so lovely there me and my mom use to just ride up there and back just to get out and drive for a road trip and it was so much fun she recently passed away so I don’t think I’ll be going for a while

I'm surprised you all had never heard of succotash! Generally it is made up of Lima beans and corn. I grew up on it in Ohio, but I always heard it was a southern dish. The buffet is not what I would have chosen to eat at Dollywood, but mainly because I wouldn't want a heavy meal like that while at the park. Thanks for your reviews, always look forward to them.

Dolly needs to come back, be hands on and overhaul the buffet. Everything looks unappetizing, pork still looks dried out, cookies & brownies are dry, succotash is watery, looks mushy, they are not replenishing the food. Low quality food for high prices that's why noone is eating there.
