Lol your daughter watching you play reminded me of when I was young and I’d watch my older brother play flash games, or I’d watch my dad and my brother play fifa together. I always preferred to watch video games instead of playing them myself. I have a lot of good memories with them. It’s nice seeing you let your kids enjoy some quality time with you while you work.

As kids me and my brother used to watch our dad play stuff like portal before bed quite often, which was very engaging to us despite our sleepiness. The main drawback to this was that there was no room in the tiny closet (where our dad's desk stood) for more chairs. So we were two very tired children, with aching legs, who were leaning on the wall or sitting on the floor trying to glimpse what was going on- at bedtime. It was a formative experience for me, but i hope other curious children don't have to experience quite as much leg-ache as we did. (We later also found out that we have hEDS which can be part of the reason why our bones and joints ache so much after standing, especially if standing still, for extended periods.

They are dark grey brown and the whole underside is tiny feet! You can feel them crawl on your hand and when you bring them to the surface, you see the 5 lines on top open and shut as they breathe. They're super cool

it’s actually that they usually get eaten by birds or other sea critters (at least around here) then wash up, dry out and bleach. the bit you find is basically a fossil. it’s the bleached carbon “skeleton”. in my local area there are tons of them on the beach in tidepools so there’s plenty of live ones around, but even more husks. you’ll find them often broken apart or with a big hole out of the center of it cause a bird picked it open

Low-hanging fruit aside though, this game has its own vibe, a distinct art style, some cool QOL adjustments, it's only 15 bucks... To people who think this is a Stardew ripoff, let me assure you it very much is not! First of all, this is an entire genre of game category with established traits such as the marriage candidates, shipping bin, mines, and even having ways to level up or get stronger with farming. This isn’t something unique to Stardew, Stardew didn’t even do it first! This game is a love letter to the kind of games that inspired Stardew in the first place! It’s quite lovely, and personally I like it better than Stardew (I have many complaints about the characters of Stardew mostly but I won’t rant or we’ll be here for days)

Loved the vid! Just a tip if you play again. I planted repeatable crops in my animal field and let them eat from that. 3-5 beads depending on the crop. You just have to plant and water. Much quicker than hand feeding, but a bit expensive.

You should play Potion Permit, it's kinda like Stardew Vally but there isn't farming in the game. you are like a doctor/chemist for the whole village and make potions for sick people and such
