I never let my cockatiel near windows...I had one that broke her neck flying into one..she was on my counter and had clipped wings but still managed to flap enough off and into the glass... Your bird is adorable...

Love, love, love Caiques! Really enjoyed you and Kookie, and so did my African Grey. She was whistling the Andy Griffith tune tight back to Kookie. We kind of inherited her, so if I had ever been inclined to get a parrot, a Caique would be my choice

Being owned by a White Bellied Caique is one of the best things to ever happen to us. Our family wouldn't be complete without Spunky Bird, who's been with us for ten years. Every day starts with him waking us up, and every night ends with us putting him to bed =D

So True - my WBC is just as 'busy' - they love to throw stuff over ledges....when my son & I first got him as a baby, he jumped into his waterbowl for a bath. I called the Petshop to 'report' a crazy bird!!! Now he is 8 & still just as nutty!!! He seems to favor 'The Adams Family' song to Andy Griffith. Hmmmmm... :)

Mostly just a safe spot to sleep at night. This way the baby doesn't get hurt. Even though my bird is out for six+ hours of the day.( In less there are errands.) He has a huge cage.

Als junger Mann hatte ich einen Zwergpapagei, Agapornis Fiscery, der oft im Garten flog. Es konnte so schnell wie eine Schwalbe fliegen und lebte auch in einem kleinen Käfig. Nachts schlafen sie gerne in einem Vogelhaus, wenn sie eines haben. / T. Du ser väl att papegojan är van vid att vara lös i rummet. Då är den lilla buren tillräcklig. Som ung hade jag en dvärgpapegoja, Agapornis Fiscery, som ofta flög i trädgården. Den kunde flyga lika fort som en svala och bodde också i en liten bur. Under natten sover de gärna i en fågelholk om de har en. / T.
